Why Can't I Drag and Drop Music to iPhone?
There are a few reasons why you might be unable to drag music onto your iPhone. These range from software incompatibility reasons to simply not having the right boxes ticked in iTunes. Most of the time, the problem is that you simply haven’t enabled manually managing your songs. Here are some tips on how to fix this:
1. Update iTunes
Just in case it’s a software problem. Often updating iTunes will do the trick. Just go to Help in iTunes and check to see if there is an update. If there is, then install it.
Use iTunes Sync When Can't Drag Music to iPhone
Another way to get around the problem of not being able to drag your music to iPhone is to simply use iTunes sync instead of dragging and dropping. You can do this with these steps:
Launch iTunes.
Click on the device icon for your iPhone.
Click on Music from the list of content types on the left.
Click on the box next to Sync Music. There are also other options that you can select if you would like.
Click Apply and it will start syncing.
Disadvantages:
You can’t selectively drag and drop music.
You can lose music that is already on your iPhone when syncing new songs.
Your iTunes account and your iPhone have to be tied to the same Apple ID.
Usually, you can’t sync your iPhone to more than one iTunes library.Sponsor ads:how to remove cydia
